How does this site work?

Every day, we run an eBay auction for the Top Slot on our site. Each auction is for the Top Slot the day after the auction finishes. This gives the winners the best part of a day to get their image ready to send to us for inclusion.

What kind of people are taking part?

At the moment we have bands, individuals and businesses pushing their blogs, sites, music, products and services. We leave it open to anyone!

What if there are no bids on the Top Slot and the auction ends without a winner?

We will most likely put up one of the images we have ‘waiting in the wings’ for charities.

Who is this ‘we’ you keep referring to?

I’m Dave, and the other gentleman is my business partner, Toby. This site is our little idea and we think of it more as a personal experiment rather than a corporate venture.

Why aren’t there records on your eBay account of the first people to be featured on your site?

When we first started, we decided it best to get family and friends onboard first to start the ball rolling and to generate the initial interest. We purposely didn’t run with eBay in the first instance so as not to give the idea away before we’d even started!
